Well, it's that time of year again.....Chanukah is over, but Christmas and New Year's have yet to start. It's time for Nutcrackers and fireplaces and (vegan) cookies and (vegan) hot chocolate and presents and parties and of course....Martha Stewart! I've been making some sequined jewelry and ornaments for my sister this year (who insists on getting a tree for her apartment!) and also having lots of fun looking through vegan cookbooks for cookie recipes!
On top of getting in the holiday mood, I've been to lots of antique stores lately and I have a new obsession - vintage teacups! I'm planning on buying some pretty ones that have a few chips on them and making candles in them. They are very pretty holiday gifts that anyone is sure to enjoy! Let's just say that my trusty, hot glue gun has been very busy this holiday season! A Chanukah gift that my lovely mommy gave to me this year has become one of my prized possessions - a vintage 1940's "Gay Gibson", red corduroy, long sleeved dress! It is the perfect party dress (perfect to wear with little black ballet flats)! I couldn't believe it when I opened the present up! It is gorgeous and I already love it! I will post more soon! Bonsoir!
